Tweeter and Jeeter
A Skeeterville Dancing Duo Dreams Big
Tweeter and Jeeter are dance-crazy skeeters who dream to be seen on a big movie screen. Their hopes rest tonight on dancing just right, for Ms. Hilda Hector, a famed film director. She’s seeking a pair of dancers with flair, the spotlight to share in her groovy new movie. But only the best can pass Hilda’s test …
Tweeter is a sweet young mosquito, and Jeeter, who sports shades and a beard, is a little off beat. They dream of starring in movies, but find it takes not only great dancing skill, but determination and daring to have a chance at fulfilling their dream. Their big challenge is first to win the Skeeterville dance contest and then win over Hilda Hector, a tough cookie film director. Can they do it?
Tweeter and Jeeter, the second in our series of Bug Rhymes stories, was a finalist in the PNWA 2012 Literary Contest.
